That is how many weeks (not days as someone thought) I have until Grant is here. Just say a prayer for my anxiety level and my panic modes I sometimes get into. We had a dr. appointment yesterday and a sonogram. It was nice to see his little face, toes, arms, fingers, boy parts. :) His face has filled out so much. He doesn't just look like a skeleton anymore. He is actually getting meat on his bones. He weighs 2.6 lbs. (You'd think more by the way I look, and comments people have made as to how much longer I have to go.) People are so nice...ha!
Here is the picture of his face. He is looking right at the camera. You can see his chubby cheek, his nose, mouth, eye sockets. To the left of the picture is his belly and I think an arm.
Here is one of his feet and all the toes that go with it. :) He actually had this foot propped up on his knee.

We have finished his room. It looks so wonderful I have to say. Not due to anything that I've done, but for the AMAZING paintings that my friend Ashley did for him (http://www.prettypleasechildrensart.blogspot.com/). On a side note, if you need any teacher gifts, baby gifts, birthday gifts, room decor, etc., she is the one to get in touch with. Her website is above (or to the right of this blog page). She is very talented. Visit her sight. So, here are some pictures of his room:

My dr. and I talked about how often I am going to be going back and what we will do at each appointment. So, I will go back in two weeks. Then, I will go back in another two weeks after that. At this point I will begin going every week and having sonograms every week. She also said that if I was having high anxiety we could do an amnio at about 37 weeks and deliver him then. We are for sure inducing on October 9th (38 weeks). She told me if my fears got worse toward the end that I could come in two times a week if I wanted. She is such a great doctor. She is just trying to alleviate all stress. So, I do feel better after this appointment. I actually feel that he will be here before we know it...Praise the Lord!! I think that once I start going at 32 weeks every week I will be a lot better. So just keep the prayers coming that my anxiety will not increase and that he will get here safely and healthy screaming all the way. :)

You guys are in my prayers...I know how scary it can be. You will see little Grant soon :) 10 weeks will fly by. Is Reagan ready for 1st grade? We will sure miss seeing her smiling face at Hays.

I am praying for you and so inspired by you! I know you will be holding that screaming baby boy before you know it! His little face is adorable in the sono pics. He has the most precious chubby cheeks!
Ashley, this was such a great post.... I am praying for you! That's all I know to do... On a brighter note, I think his room looks adorable -you did an awesome job designing the paintings (don't forget that big detail!)- Can't wait to see his sweet face on your blog! We are so excited for you, Nathan and the girls!
