Rainy Soccer Season

Well, we finished our soccer season today. I really don't know that we ever got started. With all the rain this season we could only play 3 games. We had a make up game but it got rained out. I really don't think the kids minded at all. They were just happy when they could put on their jerseys and soccer gear. We did have a team party today. We all met up at CiCi's Pizza and ate and played in the "arcade". They each had cute soccer ball cupcakes (www.babycakesbyangie.blogspot.com). They loved them! We will tray again in the fall. I am quite sure the fall won't have this much rain. If we do, we might need to consider building an ark.

(Regan's request for a hot pink soccer ball. Goes along with the Pink Panther team name.)

Mother's Day

We had a GREAT Mother's Day! We were a bunch of bums! We skipped out on church. We laid around, watched tv, and tried to take naps. Nathan got up and went and got La Madeline for me. I think my all time favorite! :) The girls made sweet gifts for me. Kennedy made her hand print and Regan made a ring holder. Nathan got me an apron I had asked for. He even had it monogrammed! It is so cute! We gave each of the moms a pot for Mother's Day with either their last name or Nana or Mims on it. Here are the girls next to my mom's pot. You can go to http://www.dixiebellegifts.com/ to order one for yourself. I had to. :) I hope you all had a great Mother's Day!

It's A.......

Yesterday a friend of mine who works at a dr. office did an ultrasound on me. We were so anxious on finding out the sex of this baby. She so graciously saved our curiosity. We took the girls with us, which was an experience within itself. They were so excited to see the baby move...and so was I.

Can you tell what it is? Look closely. :)

IT'S A BOY!! We know his first name is Grant, but we haven't quite nailed down a middle name. At first we thought it was a girl. I guess he had his legs crossed. After not believing that I saw the boy parts without a doubt. :) So, yesterday was quite the emotional day. A lot of excitement and sadness wrapped into one. I guess there is more of that to come.

Just continue to pray for my sanity and for a happy healthy baby that we can bring home and love on.

Mother's Day Luncheon

Yesterday I went to Kennedy's school for a Mother's Day Luncheon. It was so sweet. When I walked to the door Kennedy was there to greet me and escort me to our table. At the table was the cutest place mat with her hand prints on it. There was also a picture in a one of a kind painted picture frame. The teachers served our drinks and then we had wonderful spaghetti and dessert. It was such a special time. Before it was over they gave us a pot holder with their names on it and a soon. Then, the best part is they gave us a book. In the book it as what each child's favorite thing was that mom cooked, and how she cooked it. Kennedy said hers was mac and cheese, and she said how to cook it. Very funny! Then they asked them several questions: how old are you, what is your favorite color, etc. They asked them what does their mom smell like. What was Kennedy's response? It wasn't like flowers, perfume, soap. It was doo doo! Yes, doo doo! Thanks and Happy Mother's Day to all!
(pictures aren't posting...will try later.)

Train Ride

They are always doing fun things at Kennedy's school. Last week they got to take a "train ride". The kids were so excited (even though it was only a venture through the parking lot). They loved it!
